In Himachal Pradesh, a fake degree scam was busted wherein 36 thousand fake degrees were sold in 17 states from Manav Bharati University. SIT has conducted raids at 75 places so far and 275 have been quizzed. This scam of fake degrees is being reported to be 194 crores 17 lakhs. Rajkumar Rana, the main accused in the scam and chairman of the Manav Bharati Trust, has been arrested.
