  • Which industries can use e-Sign?

  • Who can use Aadhaar based e-Sign?

    Anybody with an Aadhaar number and a mobile registered with Aadhaar can use e-Sign to sign documents online, from any remote place.

  • Is e-Sign legally valid?

    Yes. e-Sign is legally valid, and it is a recognised form of signature under the provisions of Information Technology Act, 2000.

  • How does e-Sign help?

    e-Sign helps you to sign a document at your convenience and all you need is a 12-digit Aadhaar number/16-digit VID(Virtual ID valid minimum for 1 day, available on UIDAI) and a mobile registered with it. If two parties entering into an agreement have Aadhaar number and Aadhaar-registered mobile numbers, then it is possible for both parties to sign the document online without being physically present.
