AuthBridge Research Services Private Limited, and its respective subsidiaries (collectively referred to as “AuthBridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” if not explicitly referring to one company) is engaged to provide certain Services to its clients inter alia namely pre-employment and employment background verification services, due diligence of vendors/ partners, KYC verification / and video KYC of the client’s customers. For the purposes of compliance with relevant data privacy laws, the Client is the Data Controller/Fiduciary and unless otherwise notified, AuthBridge shall be the Data Processor and undertake processing of the Personal Data on its client’s behalf and under its instructions.
AuthBridge respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your Personal Data and this privacy notice explains how your Personal Data is used by AuthBridge during the course of providing the Services to its Clients.
AuthBridge always acts under the instruction of its clients who will determine the lawful basis of processing along with what Personal Data is collected and processed to provide the Services. For more information about what Personal Data is being collected and why, please check with your prospective employer/employer, your client/ business partner or your service provider.
AuthBridge uses in-house developed applications/platforms for provisioning the Services to the clients, by obtaining the Personal Data either directly through the client or submitted directly by the data subject on the respective application. You may be invited to participate in the Services via an invite. The Services are provided via a secure platform (the “Services Platform”) which will be accessed through a secure link provided in the invite. Once you have accessed the Services Platform you will be asked to create an account accessible only by yourself using your unique user ID and a secure password.
Once your account is created you will be asked to read a Privacy Notice which will contain all the details you need to know about the Services. Only when you have read and understood the Notice will you be asked to enter any Personal Data into the Platform.
These platforms are in-built with appropriate security configurations to ensure protection of your Personal Data.
You have certain rights arising from applicable privacy legislation, depending upon the jurisdiction you belong to, in respect to the Personal Data that is processed by AuthBridge for provision of Services, such as rights of access, rectification and erasure, etc. Under relevant privacy legislation, your rights are exercisable against the Data Controller, i.e., AuthBridge’s Client and you should direct your requests to them at the address/co-ordinates they provide to you.
On receiving the communications from its clients about your request, AuthBridge will act upon the same in accordance with the applicable law.

However, if at any time you have concerns over the handling of your Personal Data by AuthBridge, you are encouraged to contact your prospective employer, current employer, business partner/ client/ service provider and AuthBridge will cooperate with any investigation to resolve any issues.
