Definitions

Applicable Data Protection Law: Applicable Data Protection Laws means the relevant local and/ or international laws/ regulations basis the jurisdiction where the individual resides or is located, whose Personal Data is processed by an organisation. Some of the applicable data privacy laws to AuthBridge are General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA).

Restriction on sensitive Personal Data

  • We can send our communication at the mobile number provided, even if this mobile number is registered under DND/NCPR list under TRAI regulations. And for that purpose, we can share/disclose the information to any third-party service provider or any affiliates, group companies, their authorized agents, or third-party service providers for legitimate purposes of responding to your request.

To whom we share your Personal Data?

Within AuthBridge: We may share your Personal Data and usage Information within AuthBridge (i.e., between and among AuthBridge and its subsidiaries). Such information may be used for business purposes in consistent with the purpose for which the information was originally collected and authorized by you.

Outside of AuthBridge: 

  1. We may share your data with third-party service providers basis our legitimate business interest or any other legal basis such as AuthBridge’s contractual obligations or Data Subject’s consent for the informed purposes including but not limited to email marketing services, AuthBridge’s CRM tool, etc.

AuthBridge’s legal or professional advisors, if necessary, in connection with any investigation or complaint in relation to the use of the website, or to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may (either intentionally or unintentionally) be causing injury to or interference with any person’s rights or property (including of users of the website).
  5. Disclose any information to any governmental or statutory body to comply with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requests/notices, as necessary for any fraud detection or in the public interest.

How does AuthBridge protect your Personal Data?

  • AuthBridge is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and this international standard defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and AuthBridge is also SoC-2 Type II certified. AuthBridge’s processes and security controls provide an effective framework for protecting our clients’, other stakeholders and our business information, including any Personal Data.
  • We maintain organizational and technical measures for protecting all Personal Data we hold. We have protocols, controls, and relevant policies; procedures; and guidelines to maintain these controls, considering the risks associated with the categories of Personal Data and the processing we undertake.
  • We regularly monitor our systems to mitigate possible vulnerabilities and attacks. However, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information transmitted via our websites.
  • We employ procedures, including contractual obligations, and require all third parties to respect the security of Personal Data about you and to treat it in accordance with the Applicable Data Privacy Laws. We do not grant permission for our third-party service providers to use Personal Data about you for their own purposes and only grant permission for them to process Personal Data about you for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

Will profiling take place?

As a matter of principle, your Personal Data will not be processed automatically with the objective of evaluating certain personal aspects (profiling). If we should process your Personal Data with the objective of conducting profiling, we will, if prescribed by Applicable Data Privacy Laws, obtain your explicit consent and inform you of your rights in this respect.

Retention Period

AuthBridge does not undertake processing of Personal Data belonging to a minor (as defined under the Applicable Data Privacy Regulations), expect in cases, where its due consent from the parent/lawful guardian of the minor is obtained in accordance with the Applicable Data Privacy Regulations.

Rights for Data Subjects

You have the following rights with respect to your Personal Data that we process, subject to the conditions and restrictions set out under the applicable laws and basis the jurisdiction in which you reside. If you wish to exercise any of the rights, we may need certain information to verify/ locate your identity and validate your request, which may include, but not be limited to your full name; email addresses or mobile numbers we may have associated with you, or details of how you submitted your Personal Data with us.   • Right to erasure: You are entitled to get your Personal Data deleted from our records.

  • Right to object to and / or restrict processing: You have the right to object to and / or restrict the processing or sharing of your Personal Data such circumstances as may be prescribed under Applicable Data Privacy Laws.

  • Right to data portability: You are entitled to obtain and reuse your Personal Data. You can either obtain the information from us and provide it to a third party or ask us to transfer your Personal Data directly to a third party.

  • Right to withdraw or opt-out: You have right to withdraw your consent for any or all of the purposes for which your Personal Data has been collected provided at any time by contacting us.

  • Right to not be discriminated against for exercising your individual rights regarding your Personal Data.

  • Right to nominate (in the manner prescribed by the Central govt.) any other individual to exercise the above-mentioned rights, in the event of the death or incapacity (unsoundness of mind or infirmity of body) of the Data Subject. 

  • Right to complain and obtain redressal: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, depending upon your jurisdiction, to obtain redressal.

AuthBridge shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose and distribute or make derivatives of such communication to others, without limitation.
